Much to be thankful for

Today is the last day before the holiday and of course many people will have already begun their vacations. In fact most MA stores are closed this week, with a few trying to scoop up some last minute shoppers. But I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a very Happy and Joyous Thanksgiving. I hope you all take the time to put the store aside and enjoy time with your family and friends. As many have said, meal assembly is something we do, not something we are. Now is the perfect time to remember that.

If you’re traveling, please be careful out there. Hopefully your travels will be only be eventful in a good way. Mine will be a relaxed and easy going holiday at home. But there is much to be thankful for:

  • To even have the opportunity to have Thanksgiving – roof over my head, food on the table and time spent with family.
  • I’m thankful to all the employees who helped us make our store what it was. To say we couldn’t have done it without them is an understatement. I wish them all the success in the world.
  • For a new direction and new tasks to accomplish. The timing is exciting and I’m looking forward to the road ahead.
  • And of course I’m thankful to all of you. I truly appreciate you stopping by to read this site, to offer your advice, opinions, perspective, stories and encouragement.

So enjoy the holiday, relax and take a break from the store.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all!
